a day at nelson bay...

LJ + WD(gf) + KS + FL(gf) + me decided on a picnic today...

original intention was to be at some beach at nelson bay...

but the weather isnt on our side and had to switch to plan B...

which is dolphin watching at nelson bay itself...


the beginning of the ride was kinda boring...

boat riding while keepin a lookout for dolphins...

it was only the last 30mins of the 2hr ride before the 1st dolphins appear....


and they came in schools...

woohoo~~~

skipping outta water and other play stunts...


finale of the day's activitiy was at hog's breathe...

a steak house with alsolutely fabulous steak...

i ordered a hickory prime steak topped with bbq sauce...

medium rare of cost...


total damage for the day...

$18 (dolphin watching) + $30 (steak) + $10(petrol and sandwiches) = $58...

not bad lah...

considering the fun i had today...
